Safety of Nuclear Power Plants

A Report titled “ Safety Evaluation of Indian Nuclear Power Plant post Fukushima Accident” containing the safety review of Indian Nuclear Power Plants has been prepared by the task forces constituted by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited.
The Report has been made public and is on wesite of NPCIL and DAE.
A road map for implementation of the recommendations has been drawn up and the implementation process has commensed.
The Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s office Sh V Narayanasamy gave this information in a written reply to a question by Shri Dushyan Singh in Lok Sabha.
