HPCL: Investment Plan in Maharastra

The Minister of State Petroleum and Natural Gas R.P.N. Singh informed in the Lok Sabha in a written reply that the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) hascommissioned a strudy on pre project activities for a 9 MMTPA grassroot refinery at Ratnagiri district in the State of Maharastra.
In reply to another query, Shri Singh said that the HPCL has a total of 1137 Retail outlets and 464 LPG Distributors in the State of Maharastra. The company plans to set up 10 retail outlets in latur district during the current year and next three years.
