Nine kilograms gold recovered from LIC secy's office
CBI found nine kilograms of gold in the form of 180 gold coins of 50 grams each stacked in the office of LIC investment Sec Naresh Chopra. Apart from this, 50 million shares of a reputed company more than 100 gift vouchers worth Rs 1000 each and some telephone diaries have been recovered.
While the counsels of the accused were pressing for bail in the special court, the CBI advocate said that the probe was in a crucial juncture as the investigating agency had found more incriminating evidence in terms of property papers etc. All accused have been sent to judicial custody till December 16.
