Subject: Invitation of Tender for supply of 8.19 lakh nos. of

Domestic Pressure Regulators

(CRFQ no. 1000147022 due on 15/09/11 at 3 pm)

1. You are invited to submit your offer in a two-part bid for supply of 8.19 lakh nos.

Domestic Pressure Regulators (DPR) for LPG cylinders (as per the drawing attached

herewith) at various locations across the country intimated from time to time, on the

terms & conditions contained in this tender document.

2. Any manufacturer having valid approval from PESO and licence from BIS for

manufacture of 25.6 mm inlet diameter DPRs, as per IS-9798 (latest revision) valid as

on the due date of this tender is eligible for quoting.

3. This tender consists of the following annexures and forms:

Information pertaining to Particulars of Tenderers and Relationship with Directors

b) Price Bid documents: A price bid shall also have to be submitted online as per

the proforma given at clause 22 of Annexure I mentioned in point 3.1 above.

4. Tenderers shall also have to essentially sign an Integrity Pact (IP, mentioned in point

3.3 above) for participating in this tender.

6. Additionally, you shall be required to submit the EMD (if applicable), in physical form at

our office.

7. Your online bid as well as the instrument to be submitted in physical form should be

submitted on or before the due date of this tender viz. 15th September, 2011 by 3 pm.

8. Bid submitted after the due date and time of closing of the tender or not in the

prescribed format is liable to be rejected. BPCL does not take any responsibility for

any delay in submission of online bids due to connectivity problem or non-availability of

site and/or other documents to be to be submitted in physical form due to postal delay.

No claims on this account shall be entertained.

9. Priced bid of only those tenderers shall be opened whose un-priced bid is found to be

acceptable.
